We found a great playground

I went running Easter Saturday at Lost Mountain Park, which is about 2 miles from our house and noticed a new playground. We checked it out this past weekend. It has big, high slides and it's completely covered. It'll be great for the summer when it's too hot at our playground and it's something different, which is always good.

See the pics here.

This is one of the best pictures I have ever seen of Beth and Oscar.

Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. The boys went to Ma & Big Daddy's house for the weekend, so we only had Elizabeth for the weekend. The life of a one child parent is so simple, at least it seemed that way to us.

After dropping the boys off, Beth and I took Elizabeth to The Cheesecake Factory. I had received a generous gift card for Christmas from a co-worker and we somehow managed to spend it all. I think I'm still on the sugar high.

Saturday morning we took Elizabeth to an Easter Egg hunt in the s/d. She was so cute when she went up to the Easter Bunny and gave him a big hug. We then cleaned out our garage and can now actually park Beth's van in there. Hopefully someday we can get my car in there too. We're really not that far away, but we sure do have a lot of stuff. We took advantage of only having Elizabeth and went out to dinner again Saturday night at La Parilla, a great mexican restaurant up near Bentwater. They have a great performer there too. …

The Conner Invasion

My sister and her three kids came down for their Spring Break with my Mom. Its always fun when the kids get together, but it seemed to me to be even more fun this time; I guess that's because the kids are getting older.

As expected, Michele had the whole week planned out. Our first trip was bowling at US Play. I have posted the pictures. The kids all had a great time and they did pretty well.

Michael had a soccer game on Sunday, but after the game we took Michele and her kids up the Alatoona Dam. We did a hike on the Cooper Furnace Nature Trail. This turned out to be a bit more challenging than we thought and, as usual, Oscar wanted to ride on someone's back the whole time. The trail started about 1/2 mile down from the dam, but it took us at least 30 minutes to the hike. The weather was perfect too.

Monday we went to the Georgia Aquarium then had a picnic in Centennial Park. The aquarium is unbelievable and I would highly recommend a visit. Definitely go during the we…
