A Decent First Outing

Today was Michael's first scrimmage of the season. He did really well pitching, certainly much better than the fall. There were a couple of hard hit balls, but at least he was throwing strikes. No walks and he plunked one!!!

Sunny and 62

Last Saturday the kids were sledding down the hill in our front yard. Today they were in t-shirts playing at a huge playground near us. I'll take Sunny and 62 over snow any day of the week.

Funny Man in a Hat

Henry has started wearing ski hats around the house all of the time. Tonight was a classic; pajamas, sneakers and a winter hat. Gotta love the little man!

3.5" of Snow = Great Sledding

I've been in Atlanta 12 years now and we've never had snow like this. I was in Philly last week and we had 15", but they also have the equipment to clear the roads. Around here, you just have to wait for it to melt; they don't even salt our roads. Traffic was pretty horrible coming home from work and the car was starting to slide. Heck, I couldn't even make it up our driveway.

When I got home the kids were out front making snowballs and just having fun. Then the neighbor came over and suggested we use the hill on our front yard to sled. What a great idea! I can't believe we didn't think of it. We stayed out there for hours sledding over and over again. It looks like it all turned into ice overnight, so it should be another great day to sled.

Look who got a haircut

Another Human Canvas

Beth caught Henry playing with highlighters he found in Michael's backpack.
