Let me tell you about Adriana's. It was fantastic. It's one of those local delis that we all used to go to growing up, but rarely exist any more. I'm definitely going to hit that spot more often. Why would anyone ever go to Subway or Blimpies in St. Louis?
We then headed to The Cathedral Basilica. I was immediately stunned by the size and beauty of this church. Construction was begun in 1907. The late Pope John Paul II visited this church in 1999 and deemed it the most outstanding church in the Americas. I apologize for the blurrieness of some of the pictures, but it's really hard to get good pictures indoors for me. I need more practice. The pictures can be viewed here.
