My Kids & Me

I’ve become quite an incredible slacker with my picture taking.  Two weekends ago Elizabeth had two soccer games on Saturday in Gwinnett County (turned out to be about a 90 minutes drive…stupid construction!) and two on Sunday down in Coweta County, another 90 minute drive. They’ve been playing some great soccer, but have lost a couple of close games.  What’s most important though is that she has fun and learns, both of which she’s doing.

Elizabeth’s team had their first regular season game this past Saturday.  They played pretty well, but you could tell at times during the game that they hadn’t played in three weeks.  They played the team they beat in the Ice Breaker tournament, so I’m sure it meant quite a bit to them to beat our girls.  No matter the outcome, it was fun to watch.  Absolutely perfect soccer weather!
